Dr Alice Burnett

Alice Burnett is a clinical neuropsychologist and post-doctoral researcher working to improve neurodevelopment for children born at high biological risk. Alice completed her PhD in 2012. Her work focuses on understanding and supporting the lifelong cognitive, behavioural, and mental health outcomes for children born prematurely or with congenital conditions requiring life-saving neonatal surgery.

Alice is a Knowledge Translation Fellow in the CRE in Newborn Medicine, where she works to translate high-quality research evidence into clinical practice, and collaborates with healthcare consumers to achieve better clinical and research outcomes.

Alice sits on the Policy & Practice Translation Subcommittee of the CRE.
